DMSF Eligibility Criteria

Basic Eligibility for MBBS at DMSF

Indian students applying to Davao Medical School Foundation must meet both the academic and regulatory requirements outlined below. These are aligned with NMC guidelines so that students remain eligible to practice in India after returning.

1. Academic Qualification

• Completed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB (General category)
• Minimum 40% marks in PCB (SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories)
• Marks from a recognized education board (CBSE, ICSE, State boards)

2. NEET Qualification — Mandatory

Under current NMC rules, every Indian student studying MBBS abroad must qualify NEET-UG. There is no exception. You don't need a high score — you only need to be NEET-qualified (clear the minimum percentile). The qualification certificate remains valid for 3 years for MBBS abroad purposes.

3. Age Requirement

• Minimum 17 years on or before 31st December of admission year
• No upper age limit set by DMSF, but later admissions may face NMC scrutiny for licence registration

4. Passport

• Valid Indian passport required
• Passport must be valid for at least 2 years from admission date
• Apply for passport early if you don't have one — takes 3-4 weeks

5. Documents to Submit

• 10th Marksheet & Certificate
• 12th Marksheet & Certificate
• NEET Scorecard
• Passport copy
• Birth Certificate
• Passport-size photographs (12 copies, white background)
• Aadhar Card
• PAN Card (if available)
• Migration Certificate from board
• Medical fitness certificate
• Bank statements (for visa)

Additional Requirements (for visa)

• Affidavit of financial support from parent/sponsor
• Bank statements showing financial capacity
• No criminal record affidavit
