One of the biggest worries for Indian parents is whether their child will get familiar food. At DMSF, Indian food is easily available through:

- Indian restaurants nearby: Multiple South Indian and North Indian restaurants near campus
- Self-cooking facility: Hostel rooms come with a kitchenette where students can cook simple meals
- Indian groceries: Indian spices, dal, rice, masalas — all available in local supermarkets in Davao City
Room Types Available
- Single Room: One student per room — most privacy, highest cost
- Double Sharing: Two students share — most popular among Indian students
- Triple Sharing: Three students share — most affordable option
All rooms come furnished with bed, mattress, study table, chair, wardrobe, and attached/shared bathroom. Many units include a small kitchenette and modern bathroom, as shown in our real photos above.

Distance from Campus
Most student hostels are within a short distance of the college and hospital. Some hostels offer shuttle services. Students can also use local public transport which is cheap and frequent.
Parent Communication
This matters a lot. We provide regular updates to parents through weekly check-in calls during the first 3 months, a WhatsApp group with the hostel coordinator, direct emergency contact numbers, and video tour requests anytime.
