DMSF MBBS Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Students

To apply for MBBS at Davao Medical School Foundation, Indian students must meet the following eligibility criteria. These match both the DMSF admission requirements and the NMC rules for studying MBBS abroad.

1. Academic Qualification

• Completed 10+2 (12th standard) from a recognized board (CBSE, ICSE, state board, or equivalent)
• Subjects required: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English
• Minimum marks: 50% aggregate in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates)

2. NEET-UG Qualification (Mandatory)

• Valid NEET-UG scorecard is mandatory for all Indian students
• You must have qualified NEET (cleared the minimum percentile)
• NEET score does NOT need to be high — qualifying is enough
• Without NEET, you cannot practice in India later, even with a foreign MBBS

3. Age Requirement

• Minimum age: 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year
• No upper age limit for MBBS abroad (unlike some Indian colleges)

4. Passport

• Valid passport with at least 2 years validity from the date of admission
• If you don't have a passport yet, apply for one as soon as possible — it takes 4–8 weeks

5. English Proficiency

• Comfortable reading, writing, and speaking English
• No IELTS or TOEFL required — DMSF teaches in English and the medium itself confirms eligibility

6. Medical Fitness

• Basic medical fitness certificate from a registered doctor
• No serious communicable diseases
• Standard fitness for medical study

Once you meet the eligibility criteria, you'll need these documents to apply:

• 10th marksheet and certificate (scan + photocopy)
• 12th marksheet and certificate (scan + photocopy)
• NEET-UG scorecard
• Passport (valid 2+ years)
• Birth certificate
• Aadhar Card / PAN Card
• Passport-size photographs (white background, 10–12 copies)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Bank statements / sponsor affidavit (for visa)

What If I Don't Meet One Criterion?

• Below 50% in PCB: Some seats may be available under different criteria — talk to our team.
• NEET not qualified yet: You can start counseling and document prep while waiting for NEET results.
• No passport yet: Apply now via Passport Seva — our team will guide you.
• Below 17 years: You can complete counseling and prep work; admission only confirmed after you turn 17.
